The Advisory Committee met at the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. Minutes of June 23, July 7, and July 27, 2009 were read and approved.
FY10 TRANSFER REQUESTS
Treasurer: On a motion made by Dinjian and seconded by Shnitzler, the Advisory Committee voted to approve the transfer request in the amount of $125.00 to the Communications account #299, line item 5145 Longevity to pay a part time employee who now qualifies for longevity. (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Czekanski –yes)~
Assessors: On a motion made by Shnitzler and seconded by Dinjian, the Advisory Committee voted to approve the transfer request in the amount of $600.00 to the Assessor’s account #141, line item 5400 Supplies. Based on the average spent on supplies over the years the Assessor’s were allocated $700.00 for supplies. During the FY10 budget process, the Assessor’s were incorrectly allocated only $100.00 for supplies. (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Czekanski –yes)~
Parks/Recreation: On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Shnitzler, the Advisory Committee voted to approve the transfer request in the amount of $1,774.00 to the Parks account #630, line item 5200 Purchases of Service to cover the remaining fee owed to the swim lesson instructor for the session held July 27 – August 7, 2009. The amount budgeted for the 2009 summer season was $4,100.00 and the actual amount spent was $5,874.00. (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Czekanski –yes)~
Town Clerk: On a motion made by Dinjian and seconded by Czekanski, the Advisory Committee voted to approve the transfer request in the amount of $4,888.00 to the Elections account #162 for the State Primary and Election to fill the Kennedy vacancy. (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Czekanski –yes)~
SURPLUS VEHICLE
On a motion made by Dinjian and seconded by Czekanski, the Advisory Committee voted to authorize the disposal of the 1997 Crown Victoria Ford Sedan. This vehicle has been replaced with a 2005 Crown Victoria Ford Sedan that is used by the town hall staff for site visits. (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Czekanski –yes)~
On a motion made by Shnitzler and seconded by Dinjian, the Advisory Committee voted to adjourn at 8:50 p.m.
